Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Since its foundation, it has been a high priority of the hmb engineers to always work with the latest technology and the pulse of the times. Thus, the company’s first projects were already modeled with 3D design programs when many competitors introduced the 2D software. The topic of “BIM” was also promoted by hmb engineers to the same extent and implemented in many projects. The owners, Markus Hafner and Alfred Müller, have already been invited as speakers at several events on this topic.
“BIM” is not just about merging the planning information of all planners in a 3D model and their electronic exchange. Rather, in addition, costs, dates, component deliveries and assembly processes, etc. can be organized with it. Likewise, the BIM data can continue to be used for building management.
